KIVI-TV, or Channel 6, based in Boise, Idaho, was founded in 1974 as KITC-TV before becoming KIVI in 1975. Serving the Treasure Valley community, it has adapted to technology changes, transitioning from analog to digital broadcasting and expanding online presence. KSAW-TV, an ABC affiliate in the Magic Valley region, launched in 2009, providing local news and programming to communities like Twin Falls. Despite its recent establishment, KSAW has become a trusted source, contributing to the diverse media landscape in Idaho. Both KIVI-TV and KSAW-TV play integral roles in keeping their audiences informed and entertained.
